According to reports, Real Madrid are keen to sign Manchester City teenager Brahim Diaz. Diaz rose to prominence through his performance against Fulham this week. The 19-year old midfielder scored two goals in Manchester City’s 2-0 win over Fulham in the Carabao Cup which saw them qualify for the quarter-finals of the tournament. Those two goals were Diaz’s first of his career.

Diaz joined Manchester City’s youth team from Malaga’s youth team in 2013 before joining the senior team in 2016. So far, he has made 14 appearances for the club across all competitions. This season, he hasn’t made a single Premier League appearance but has appeared in the Carabao Cup and Community Shield.

Brahim Diaz’s current contract expires next summer and City are keen to convince the teenager to sign a new contract with the club. However, Real Madrid may make an attempt to sign him either in January or during next summer.
