Real Madrid are already looking at their next overhaul of Brazilian talent, Flamengo’s Reinier Jesus.
It is clear Los Blancos are looking to sweep up the next Neymar from the South American nation without giving their arch-rivals, Barcelona the edge.
That is why they dished out nearly €100m on Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo, both young stars who has been tipped to walk into Neymar’s shoes. So far, that has been not the case but they have impressed plenty as teenagers. Rodrygo already has collected a Champions League hat-trick this season as Vinicius continues to make a case for more senior selection.
Reinier is the next in line in the Flamengo ranks, due to turn 18 in January. His mesmerizing locker bag of skills has attracted the attention of plenty of European outfits. The Brazilian, who primarily trained as a number ten but can play from out wide and as a striker as well, has scored 6 goals in 15 appearances in 2019.
Flamengo rewarded him with a new contract but reduced his release clause to €35m to make him a more attractive asset. Real Madrid are believed to be ahead of the march with Manchester City, Juventus, Barcelona, Arsenal and Everton following closely behind.
