Christian Eriksen looks almost certain to part ways with Tottenham this summer. The Dane has openly expressed his desire to leave and has already refused to sign a contract extension.

Having established himself as one of the most prolific playmakers in the world, Real Madrid are already hot on heels to rope in the Dane this summer.

According to reports, the contingent at Santiago Bernabeu value Eriksen around ÂŁ80m. They ready to offer a swap deal including ÂŁ30m and Dani Ceballos for the playmaker.

However, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is adamant on accepting anything less than ÂŁ130m for his prized asset. Although there has been no confirmation whether the Lillywhites are ready to broker a player-plus-cash deal or not, Real Madrid’s ÂŁ80m valuation of Eriksen is apparently a stumbling block for the deal to go through.

The same source also claimed that Mauricio Pochettino enquired about including Real Madrid striker Mariano Diaz in the swap deal instead of Ceballos.

  1. Hi, I think that Madrid needs this player, so they are trying to get him by all means. For the acquisition of new players, large clubs spend tens of millions of euros, but this item of expenditure is very risky: there are no such risks anymore in any kind of business. This is the danger of the player getting injured, after which recovery will take a lot of time (there is a chance that he will not reach his previous level of play), and the risk that the athlete will not be able to adapt to the new team. Good luck!
