Real Madrid are preparing to land a deal with Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah, with the prospect of offering €100million, also keeping the door open on an opportunity of using Gareth Bale in a player-plus-cash move.
According to a report on Calciomercato, Club president Florentino Perez is said to have been not pleased with the deals Madrid completed last summer and wants them to learn from their mistakes.
Apart from Salah, other targets include Harry Kane, Mauro Icardi and Thibaut Courtois, although the Egyptian is higher up the pecking order in Perez’s list.
Zinedine Zidane had been full praise of Salah in recent times, indicating that a move to the Bernabeu could be well on the cards.
“He is a great player. He showed that in Rome and is now doing the same in Liverpool. He is an important player and is growing more all the time. He is still young, and can improve a great deal.”
