Real Madrid could finally offload Isco in summer, with Man City confident that they can agree a deal to bring him to the club when the transfer window opens.
The Spanish giants haven’t given him as much gametime as he would like in recent months due to the high amount of talent that the club has at its disposal.
He’s been linked with a move away from the club for quite some time now, with the player able to play at the highest level and if given the chance to play regularly, he could become a key player at another club.
However, no move has materialised for the attacking midfielder over the last two transfer windows, despite interest from several top clubs.
This summer though, Man City plan to up their interest a gear and finally sign the 24-year old. Boss Pep Guardiola has claimed he would rather sign younger players that can help improve the club and Isco fits the bill.
He is believed to be one of their top targets now this summer, as not only is he young but he is also already very experienced and able to provide a boost to the squad immediately.
Chelsea and Juventus have also been linked with moves in the past but City are now confident of beating those two to his signature in the summer.
He could cost £30m but it’s a price that City would be willing to pay – they certainly have the funds.
