The Portugal International joined Juventus this summer
Cristiano Ronaldo completed a reported €112 million move from Real Madrid to Juventus last month, signing a 4 year deal. He will pocket around €30 million per season.
The Portugal International ended a successful 9 year spell with the Spanish side after joining them from Manchester United for a world record transfer fee at the time of £80 million. He has been the Spanish side’s main man since then, scoring 451 in 438 games and left as their top goal scorer.
He won LaLiga twice, two Copa del Reys and has also helped the club to four Champions League trophies, along with the FIFA Club World Cup three times and the UEFA Super Cup twice.
The Portuguese winger’s future was in doubt since the Champions League final against Liverpool back in May. He spoke about the club in the past tense after that game when he said: “We will talk in the future. It’s been really beautiful to play for Real Madrid. I’ll give a response in the coming days.”
The La Liga giants have won their opening three games so far and Isco claims that they are yet to miss the presence of Ronaldo. He feels the players have stepped up since his departure, with Benzema and Bale among the scorers.
“Cris is an extraordinary player,” The midfielder told a Spain news conference as quoted, ahead of their game against England on Saturday – live on Sky Sports.
“He guaranteed you 40 to 50 goals. But if we win, they’ll say we don’t miss him and if we don’t win, they’ll say we do.
“We’re playing very well now; players who didn’t score as many goals last year are now filling their boots. We don’t miss him at the moment. I wish him all the best at Juve.”
Turin side have also won their 3 opening games but the Portugal star is yet to open his scoring in the Serie A.
