The Spanish will not entertain any offers from potential suitors
Marco Asensio joined Real Madrid from Mallorca for a €3.9 million fee, signing a six year deal on December 2014. He remained with his club on loan until the end of the campaign and was again loaned to RCD Espanyol for the whole campaign in the following season.
He returned back to the La Liga giants for the 2016/2017 season and developed under former manager Zinedine Zidane almost beyond recognition. He has been a key player for the club since then and has established himself as one of the best young talents in the world.
The Spaniard was a regular for the Spanish side last season, scoring 9 goals and assisting 7 in 48 appearances. He even managed managed to keep the likes of Isco and Gareth Bale out from the Starting XI.
But his progress stalled towards the end of the season as he struggled to make an impact and was reduced to the bench. Though he ended the season on a positive note as the club won 3rd consecutive Champions League.
The 21 year old is considered as one of the hottest properties in the La Liga and has been linked with summer exit. European giants like Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool all are interested in him and are monitoring his situation.
There were some speculations that the Spain International was concerned about his game time in the upcoming season and would want assurance from the new manager. This alerted his potential suitors and were willing to bid for him for a potential transfer.
Marco Asensio will not be leaving Real Madrid this summer, according to AS. He is only thinking about continuing on with the Blancos, and the club have no plans to entertain offers for the Spain international.
