Soler is one of the top transfer target of Madrid
Real Madrid are having a season with ups and downs. They have been performing brilliantly in the Champions League with recently knocking out Paris Saint-Germain but they are struggling in the La Liga. They are currently 3rd in the league and 15 points behind league leaders Barcelona. Zidane is looking to bolster his squad this summer and targeting stellar signings.
Madrid are already chasing Robert Lewandowski, Mohamed Salah, Marcos Alonso and now have added Valencia’s midfielder Carlos Soler in their long list. According to El Confidencial, Real Madrid have identified Valencia ace Soler as their top transfer target for this summer.
Soler who is tied with Valencia until June 2021 and has a €70 million release clause in his contract. But according to reports around £50 million would be enough to price him away. And also instead of paying the fee, Real could offer Marcos Llorente, Achraf, Dani Ceballos or Borja Mayoral in a swap deal. Valencia may agree as they are struggling due to financial problems.
Manchester United are also interested in signing the midfielder.
Soler has been a regular starter for Spain under 21 National team and has become an integral part of Valencia team, who are currently 4th in the league and just 1 one point behind Madrid.
The 21-year-old has made 28 appearances for Valencia and enjoyed a strong partnership with Kondogbia. Soler has grabbed three goals this season including one against Los Blancos at the Bernabeu.
