This could be bad news for Man United
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is set to get rid of SIX players this summer.
Zinedine Zidane’s team lost late on in El Classico last night, with Lionel Messi scoring a 92nd winner at the Bernabau.
It blew the La Liga title race wide open, despite Madrid being on top of the table for so long this season.
And according to Spanish outlet Diario Gol, Perez is furious with Real’s stars.
They say the president has told Zidane to axe players, otherwise he’ll sell them in the summer.
The president was also furious with defender Sergio Ramos for receiving a red card that changed the game, and Cristiano Ronaldo was far from his best for the 90 minutes.
Key midfielder Luka Modric, striker Karim Benzema and defender Nacho Fernandez were also heavily criticised by Perez, but perhaps the most significant star criticised was goalkeeper Keylor Navas.
If his poor form continues, Perez could look to replace Navas, and that could be bad news for Manchester United. Their no.1 keeper, David De Gea, has been a long-standing target for Madrid over the course of several seasons, and an exit for Navas could mean that Real come hunting for De Gea again.
