Florentino Perez prepared to offer Chelsea £74million

Real Madrid are still wanting to sign Chelsea star Eden Hazard in the summer and will reportedly offer around £74million to land him.

President Florentino Perez is desperate to sign the Belgian as he prepares for life without Cristiano Ronaldo, who is expected to leave the Bernabeu at the end of the current season.

Perez sees Hazard as the only suitable replacement for Ronaldo and will launch a formal bid to sign the winger in the summer, with the club ready to offer around £74m.

According to reports, Chelsea‘s asking-price for Hazard does stand at £74m and Madrid are more than happy to meet it in order to get the deal done as quickly as possible.

Madrid want to avoid a saga like they had this summer with Manchester United and David De Gea.

Hazard Ready for Move

It’s been widely reported throughout the season that Hazard is unhappy at Stamford Bridge and has already told his friends and family that he wants to leave the club at the end of the season.

Madrid is his dream destination and that remains the same despite signing a new long-term deal at the start of the campaign.

Hazard is suffering even more so now at Chelsea after Jose Mourinho‘s dismissal as a portion of the fans blame him for the problems behind the scenes at Stamford Bridge.

The winger has been labelled a rat by his own fans, along with team-mates Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa.
