The Striker joined PSG on an initial loan deal

Real Madrid are expected to bolster their side this summer after an underwhelming domestic campaign. They lost out the La Liga and Copa Del Rey to their rival Barcelona this season.

La Liga giants want to add reinforcements in key areas especially a striker and goalkeeper. Karim Benzema is likely to leave this summer after an under performing campaign and the club have already been linked to host of strikers like Harry Kane, Robert Lewandowski and Mauro Icardi ahead of the summer transfer window.

Real Madrid are ready to rekindle their interest in striker Kylian Mbappe this summer, reports Spanish publication Sport. The Blancos were keen on landing the talented teenager prior to his switch from Monaco to Paris Saint-Germain in 2017.

The France International burst onto the scene for Monaco last season and helped the team to win Ligue 1. His outstanding form caught attention of PSG and took him on an initial loan deal last summer that includes the option for a €180 million deal, that will make the deal permanent.

The 19 year old has been very crucial for the Ligue 1 giants domestic dominance this season, scoring 21 goals in all competitions, helping his team to win the domestic treble.

But PSG may be forced not to make Mbappe’s deal permanent if they don’t comply with the FFP regulations in order to balance the book. Zinedine Zidane’s side are keeping tabs on his situation and could steal in to lure him to Santiago Bernabeu this summer.

Even outgoing manager Unai Emery claimed that the Frenchman’s initial choice was to join either Real Madrid or Barcelona before completing a transfer to the French club.
