Real Madrid to swoop in for Neymar or Mbappe

According to reports from Spanish daily AS, PSG could be forced to sell either one of Neymar or Kylian Mbappe due to Financial Fair Play regulations. Seeing this as an opportunity, Real Madrid are keen to make a move to sign either one of the two PSG stars.

PSG made the two most expensive signings in football history in Neymar and Kylian Mbappe. PSG roped in Neymar from Barcelona in 2017 on a transfer fee of €222 million and signed Mbappe from Monaco permanently this summer on a fee of €180 million.

However, there is a chance that these cash-rich moves could breach the Financial Fair Play regulations. UEFA are currently investigating this matter.

Real Madrid have been looking to sign a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo ever since the Portuguese left for Juventus in the summer. They had their sights on Eden Hazard who decided not to leave. They have shown interest in both Neymar and Mbappe and provided PSG is forced to sell one of them, Real will certainly cash in on the opportunity.
