La Liga giants preparing contract for Tottenham Hotspur boss

Real Madrid are reportedly interested in appointing Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino as their next manager.

The Argentine has won a lot of plaudits so far this season after turning Spurs into genuine title-contenders, and his managerial skills have caught the eyes of Madrid officials.

The La Liga giants sacked Rafa Benitez earlier this season and replaced him with Zinedine Zidane until the end of the season, but with the club keen on finding a permanent fixture ahead of next season, it’s believed Zidane isn’t the guy they want.

According to reports, Florentino Perez has drawn up a shortlist of managers he would like at the Bernabeu and Pochettino is one of the names.

Pochettino on the Radar

Pochettino is so far happy to remain at White Hart Lane, but with reports claiming he could be offered a contract worth ÂŁ16.2million in Spain, he could jump at the chance to join Real Madrid.

Other names reportedly on Perez‘s list are Massimiliano Allegri and Joachim Loew, with the club president ready to offer a three-year deal worth ÂŁ5.4m to the next manager.
