According to reports, Real Madrid will bring back James Rodriguez from his loan spell at Bayern Munich on January if Niko Kovac remains Bayern Munich manager.
James joined Bayern Munich from Real Madrid on a two-year loan spell last summer because he wasn’t getting sufficient game time at Real. He played a crucial role in Real winning the Bundesliga last season, scoring 7 goals and providing 11 assists in 23 league games.
This season, he has scored three goals in eleven matches across all competitions so far. However, he has a rocky relationship with Bayern manager Niko Kovac. Kovac’s playing style does not bode well with the Colombian winger.
Things are not going well at Real Madrid and they reportedly want James back. They are currently 6th in the La Liga table, 7 points behind leaders Barcelona.
Even though Bayern Munich aren’t in the best of situations at present, there hasn’t been any talks of Bayern sacking Kovac. Provided Bayern do not sack Kovac, then Real will most likely bring back James Rodriguez from Bayern Munich.
