English clubs Liverpool & Arsenal have not given up the chase for Marco Reus despite his club Borussia dortmund insisting the player is going nowhere.

Reus has reportedly refused to sign a new contract at Champions League 2013 runners up Dortmund and has been subject to wide speculation surrounding his future with interest from top clubs around Europe and it is Liverpool & Arsenal who still hold hope of landing the German playmaker.

Arsenal are front runners for the 25 year old with Arsene Wenger keen to challenge for the premier league title aswell aswell as in Europe where they face current side Dortmund in the group stages.

If they are to land Marco Reus they will face stiff competition from Liverpool who have cash to spend still from the Suarez sale and also Real Madrid who are long term admirers and are confident they can use the long term standing deal with the sale of Sahin to bring in Reus to add to their galacticos.

The asking price for Reus has dropped to as low as ÂŁ20million with his current contract ending at the end of the season this gives clubs until Monday’s deadline or the January transfer window to move for the German International.
