Ricardo Pereira has said compatriot Adrien Silva has helped him settle down at Leicester City.
The Portuguese right-back scored a scorcher against Manchester City to get his over the line.
Portuguese right-back Ricardo Pereira has said that his compatriot Adrien Silva has helped him to settle down at Leicester City. The midfielder has fallen 0ut of favour at the club and might be on his way very soon. However, his teammate Ricardo has said that Silva has been impressive in training and is showing quality.
The Leicester right-back said, “I really wanted to be part of this project and the Premier League is a championship in which I have always wanted to play.”
He also added, “It’s the most complicated league in the world, the most competitive in the world. That pushed me to choose Leicester. Being able to talk with the coach helped but before coming here, I had talked to Adrien about the club and he described it positively. Adrien explained the club and the city to me as soon as he heard that the club was interested in me. It helped me and made my adaptation easier. His help has been very important.”
When asked about his time and experience while playing in England, the player said, “Playing in England is amazing, (particularly) the atmosphere. And although I arrived only a little while ago, I have seen a great unity at the club.”
