Rickie Lambert is set to have a medical tomorrow at Liverpool ahead of a proposed move from Southampton.
Lambert’s first bid was rejected on Thursday evening, however they have accepted a £4 million offer for the 32 year old England international.
The transfer has seemed to shock many a football supporter in general really, with Lambert viewed as a back up to Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge.
The move is expected to be a dream one for Liverpool supporter Lambert, who has risen up the Leagues, with the likes of Bristol Rovers and Southampton.
Lambert enjoyed another fine season for Southampton, scoring 13 Premier League goals as they finished eighth.
