Merseyside rivals Liverpool and Everton will face competition from italian giants Inter Milan for the signature of QPR midfielder Stephane M’Bia, according to reports in France.

Stephane M’Bia, who joined QPR in 2012, is currently on loan at Sevilla, and has made 18 appearances for the spanish club this season. With doubt over whether Sevilla want to make the players stay permanent, it is unlikely that M’Bia will want to play for his parent club, after previously expressing his desire to play in the Champions League.

It is believed that Liverpool have made contact with the player, after securing Champions League next season. Liverpool’s managing director, Ian Ayre, has recently revelead that funds will be available to boss, Brendan Rodgers, and it seems that M’Bia is on the clubs wanted list.

Rivals Everton are also keen on signing the midfielder, as they are in the hunt for a top four place. Both premier league sides face competition from Inter Milan however, eventhough the italian team are expected to compete in the Europa League next season.
