Could he follow Vardy to Arsenal?
Arsenal’s hopes of signings Riyad Mahrez this summer have been boosted after the forward admitted he wants to leave Leicester this summer.
Mahrez could follow Jamie Vardy out of the King Power exit door, as Vardy seems to be heading to Arsenal himself following the North-London club triggering his £20million release clause on Friday.
Mahrez was the pick of the bunch as the Foxes won the title and was awarded the PFA player of the year award for his incredible displays. He signed a new contract with Leicester last summer but now has changed his mind and wants to leave, according to reports.
Reports this morning claimed Arsenal had entered talks with the 25-year-old and the news that he’s ready to quit the King Power stadium will be a boost for Wenger’s side as they look to show they mean business in the transfer window this summer.
