Brazilian has now been given two weeks off

Roberto Firmino has passed his medical at Liverpool ahead of his proposed £29million move from Hoffenheim and will now be given a two-week vacation.

The Brazilian international has been representing his country in Chile during the Copa America and although he’s officially passed his medical tests, he is now set to go away for two weeks to recover.

Medical Tests Passed

The 23-year-old underwent all his needed medical tests in Sao Paulo and it’s reported that he passed all the check-ups ahead of the proposed transfer.

Brendan Rodgers has given the play-maker a two week vacation before he joins up with his new team-mates for the first-time in Merseyside.

Firmino is currently one of six new faces at Anfield, following: James Milner, Danny Ings, Adam Bogdan, Joe Gomez and Nathaniel Clyne.
