‘It could be the best time for him to try something different’ says Roberto Martinez

Belgium boss Roberto Martinez has urged his star player and Belgium’s captain Eden Hazard to leave Chelsea and join Real Madrid.

While talking to Spanish Radio Cadena Ser, the manager has admitted that it is the right time for the Belgian forward to leave the west London and join the Spanish capital.

He said, “Players need new challenges and new projects, Perhaps it’s a good time for [Chelsea] and for Hazard [to split]. I would be very surprised if Chelsea didn’t have big offers for him right now”

He also added that,”It could be the best time [for Hazard] to try something different,’ Martinez added. ‘He is a player who has maturity and a lot of leadership. His play is based on talent”

“Hazard could carry a new project anywhere in the world. He is at the best moment of his career. He could fit in any team in the world.”

Even Hazard has indicated to join the Spanish side after their successful World Cup which saw the Belgium finished at 3rd place.

Hazard said, “I will go on holiday and ask myself the right questions, After six wonderful years at Chelsea, it might be time to discover something different”

Hazard has a wonderful time in Russia. He lead from the front and scored 3 goals in the tournament. He also added that, “I can decide if I want to stay or go, but Chelsea will make the final decision – if they want to let me go.”
