Everton manager Roberto Martinez has revealed that he is willing to sell striker Nikica Jelavic in January as long as he can find a suitable replacement.

The Croatian international has falled out of favour at Goodison Park due to loaning Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea and it is thought that Martinez is looking for a better option up front which means Jelavic is un-wanted by the Spaniard.

It is understood that West Ham United are interested in the striker, but they are looking to loan him rather than sign him just to cover for the injured Andy Carroll.

Despite a great start to his Toffees career, Jelavic has suddenly fallen out of favour and it is thought the Merseyside club are ready to part company with the striker after just two seasons.
