The Brazilian has been in outstanding form this season

Despite reaching the Champions League final this season, Real Madrid are expected to reinforce their side this summer after an underwhelming domestic campaign. The club may sell few players in order to accommodate new signings.

The La Liga giants have prioritized signing a goalkeeper as Kiko Casilla likely to leave the club and Keylor Navas will turn 32 next season. They have been linked to host of goalkeepers like David De Gea, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Thibaut Courtois ahead of the summer transfer window.

Roma’s Goalkeeper Alisson Becker has also caught the attention of Zinedine Zidane’s side. He has been very impressive for the club domestically and in Europe this season, establishing himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the world.

It has been a meteoric rise for the keeper who did not play a single game in Serie A last season before taking over as the undisputed No.1 this term.

The Brazilian’s form has caught the attention Spanish club and according to reports they will lodge an offer worth around ÂŁ52.25 million which would make him by far the most expensive keeper ever.

It has also been suggested that Real will hand the 25-year-old a five-year deal with an annual salary of ÂŁ4.35 million.

But Roma have rejected an offer from Real Madrid for Alisson, Corrierre dello Sport reports.

The Serie A giants are very keen to their star keeper beyond this season and it is believed only an astronomical offer will make them consider about letting the player leave this summer. They will not accept anything less than €100 million for the Brazil international.

Alisson was recently asked about a possible move to Read Madrid and he replied:

“I’m happy for the interest of Real Madrid, although my thoughts are on Roma right now,” he told Globoesporte. “But it means that I’m doing my job well.”
