Roma may turn their attentions to Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech if fellow Serie A side Fiorentina reject their advances for their goalie Norberto Neto.

Roma manager Rudi Garcia is in desperate need of freshness between the sticks, with Morgan De Sanctis in the twilight of his career at 37, and Lukasz Skorupski is inconsistent.

Fiorentina are adamant that Neto is not for sale, ansd Roma may go after Czech stopper Cech instead.

Cech has been at Stamford Bridge for 11 years, but has lost his starting spot this season to Thibault Courtois.

However, a move away from the Blues may be put on hold until at least the summer, as Jose Mourinho may not want to lose his second-choice in goal.

Neto joined Fiorentina in 2011 from Atletico Paranaense, and has 59 appearances for the Viola.
