Italian Serie A side AS Roma are all set to table a bid to sign free agent Samuel Eto’o.
Eto’o has been linked with a return to Italy, following his recent release from Chelsea in May.
The 33 year old held talks with the striker yesterday with a view to a proposed move to tyhe Italian capital.
It is also understood that Eto’o is keen on a return to the country,where he spent three years with Inter Milan, however he has received offers from
Turkey and China.
If he was to join the Serie A side, he will link up with former Chelsea team mate Ashley Cole, who penned a two year deal yesterday.
