Romelu Lukaku Advices Fellow Players To Deal With Jose Mourinho Criticism

Manchester United forward Romelu Lukaku insists his fellow players need to get along with the criticism they receive from their manager Jose Mourinho.

A number of players with the likes of Luke Shaw, Paul Pogba and Alexis Sanchez have faced Mourinho’s wrath. The Portuguese has a very strict player management policy and he doesn’t seem to have a very cordial relationship with players.

United are currently struggling to keep pace with the top four and are reeling in the eighth place. Questions have often been asked over the integrity of the squad as flashes of the famous ‘third season syndrome’ has already been witnessed this term.

Lukaku himself hasn’t been able to find the net in the last few matches and Mourinho decided the drop the player in the 2–1 win over Everton. However, the player still seems to be the preferred choice of the manager and the big Belgian has asked the other players to deal with it.

“I think he has a good relationship with the players.

“I don’t really pay attention to what his relationship is with the other players, to be honest. I don’t think it’s something that should affect me.

“If he has an argument with somebody I mean, deal with it, man. You’re a grown-a*** man, deal with it.”
