Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has hinted at a Stamford Bridge exit today, posting a cryptic tweet with a picture of him on a plane. The Belgium international has been linked with a move to Everton this week, having enjoyed a successful loan spell at Goodison Park last season, and tweeted a picture of him on a plane accompanied by the message “Time to write a new chapter.”
The meaning of the message initially appears to be a nod towards a move away from Chelsea, although he may also be joining up with his current club at their pre-season training camp having been given an extended break following the World Cup.
