Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo has said that Juventus’ defeat to Manchester United came at the right time as it will help them in the long run. Manchester United handed Juventus their first defeat of the season by beating them 2-1Â Turin a few days back. Ronaldo scored a terrific goal to open the scoring for Juventus. However, a goal from Juan Mata and an own goal from Alex Sandro won them the match.
Despite the defeat, Ronaldo said that it could benefit Juventus. The Portuguese forward said, “It’s never nice to lose, but maybe this defeat comes at the best possible time. We have a great team, we’re top of the group and I’m sure we’ll go through as group winners.”
Juventus’ next match is a big game as they face AC Milan at the San Siro on Sunday.
