Ronaldo wants Manchester United

As has been the case numerous times in the past, Cristiano Ronaldo is being linked with a move to Manchester United.

A report in Spanish paper AS has carried the news that the 32-year-old is unhappy with Spain and wants to make a move.

In 2009, Ronaldo shifted from Manchester United to the La Liga giants, and has won a number of honours at the club, but is reportedly feeling ‘cheated’ by Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.

Ronaldo has been in top form, and is currently going through a barren spell in the club. According to the report, what has flustered him more is that he has not been able to receive an upgrade in the lucrative contract that he currently possesses, as reportedly promised by Perez.

Apart from the wage scenario, Ronaldo has also been troubled by tax issues, with Spanish prosecutors accusing him of having defrauded ÂŁ13m in the summer, and a move back to England could help ease his problems.
