Juventus made arguably the biggest signing in their club’s history by roping in Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid at a price of £99 million. It has been only two days since the Portuguese striker left Real Madrid and he is making massive demands at Turin. According to several reports, Ronaldo wants former Real Madrid teammate and close friend Marcel0 to join him at Juventus. Sport Mediaset claims that Ronaldo has asked Juve president Andrea Agnelli to make a move for the Brazilian left-back.
Strange as it may seem that Ronaldo has already begun laying the law at Juventus, his request is pretty reasonable. Marcelo is probably the best left-back playing today. He was one of the best left-backs at the ongoing FIFA World Cup where Brazil exited at the quarter-finals.
However, Real Madrid are reportedly not considering selling Marcelo who has a release clause of £160 million in his contract. Another reason why Juventus could make a move for Marcelo is because their present left-back Alex Sandro has been linked to some of Europe’s top clubs and could be leaving The Old Lady.
