Paris Saint Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has told Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney to join him in France to make PSG the best club in the world.
The mega-rich French side have splashed the cash over the past two seasons and this year, they managed to sign Manchester City and Chelsea target Edinson Cavani.
Despite having the Uruguayan up front with him, Ibrahimovic wants Rooney to come to France as the club are going up and it would be exciting for them to have the Englishman on board.
“When there was talk of Rooney joining us in Paris it was a prospect that excited me,” Ibrahimovic is quoted as saying in The Sun.
“I think he made it clear in the summer that he wanted a fresh challenge – and things have not been going so well for Manchester United this season.
“If he still wants to move next summer, or in January, I would urge him to come and play with me in Paris. The only direction this club is going is up.”
