Norwich goalkeeper John Ruddy has been left out of the England squad for the World Cup Finals in Brazil.

Ruddy, had been superb for the Norfolk club, and won many plaudits from his performances despite their relegation from the Premier League.

And it seems that Hodgson has made up his mind within regards to the keeper, who made his full England debut last year, after helping Norwich to an 11th place finish during the 2012/13 campaign.

But the popular keeper could not prevent the Canaries slipping out this season.

Hodgson has elected to take West Bromwich Albion keeper Ben Foster, and Celtic’s Fraser Forster.
