Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs has reportedly rejected an offer from Jose Mourinho and the ‘Man for all seasons’ is leaving Old Trafford after 29 years of service to the club.

Giggs’ representatives are now in talks with Manchester United to negotiate and secure a pay-off for the final year left on his contract, says the Daily Mail.

This will bring to an end to an amazing 29 years of association with the Red Devils after joining back in 1987 on his 14th birthday.

Before Giggs turned to coaching, he won 13 Premier League titles, four FA Cups, four League Cups, two Champions League titles and nine Community Shield titles.

He also scored a whopping 168 goals during his time at United and made a club-record of 963 appearances.

Rumours are that Giggs had grown increasingly disenfranchised with The Red Devils and the direction they have taken following Sir Alex Ferguson’s departure.

The exit from Old Trafford is understandably expected to anger fans. Especially after the way United handled Louis van Gaal’s very public and embarrassing sacking, And Ryan Giggs’ treatment over the past few of months further worries the Welshman to the declining standards of the club’s handling of business strategies the last couple of  years.
