Tottenham Hotspur are favourites to sign West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino in a £25 million summer deal, according to the Daily Mail.
Spurs will have to break the bank should they wish to sign the England Under 21 international, who has impressed for the Baggies this season.
The North London side are keen to partner Berahino with fellow English starlet Harry Kane, with Spurs somewhat struggling for consistent partners for Kane, as both Roberto Soldado and Emmanual Adebayor have failed to make an impact this season.
Liverpool had also previously been keen on Berahino, and having failed to capture Danny Ings from Burnley, and will be matching Tottenham all the way for the Albion forward’s prized signature.
21-year-old Berahino was recently fined by his current club of recent late, as he stated that he wanted to join a bigger club in the summer.
He has netted 14 goals for the Midlands outfit this season.
