Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has rubbished reports Mohamed Salah will leave Chelsea in this transfer window.
The winger has been strongly linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge, with Serie A side Roma looking the favourites to sign him.
However, Mourinho confirmed that he wouldn’t be able to leave unless he gets £50 million to find a replacement.
The Chelsea boss said: “He can’t leave, I have 20 players today with Didier a bit ill and Azpilicueta injured.”
He added: “I have a very short squad I need everybody. For Salah to leave someone has to come, and I don’t think we are going to let Salah go on loan and then spend some money to bring somebody else in.”
The 22-year old has made seven appearances in all competitions for Chelsea this campaign. Despite this, he hasn’t made a single start in the Premier League.
