Manchester City star reveals he won’t be back before New Year
Samir Nasri won’t be back in action for Manchester City until the New Year, he has confirmed.
The French midfielder has been sidelined since October with a hamstring injury, but he’s now revealed that he doesn’t expect to be playing until January at the very earliest.
Nasri suffered the initial injury during City‘s 5-1 win over AFC Bournemouth, and despite being visibly hurt, he carried on in the match due to Manuel Pellegrini using all his allotted subs.
Whether Nasri’s injury was worsened by the fact he continued is not yet known, but he has now confirmed that he’s suffered a setback in his recovery.
Nasri Confirms Blow
The 28-year-old took to his official Instagram account to post the latest news, and confirmed that he will be back in three months time.
Nasri posted: “What doesn’t kill you make you stronger. I will be back better than ever see you in 3 months.”
