Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri is set for a Summer at home after he was snubbed by French manager Didier Deschamps for this year’s World Cup, a decision that hasn’t gone down well with player’s girlfriend.

As soon as the 23-man squad was announced, Antara Atanes, took to her social networking page, Twitter, to respond to her boyfriend missing out on the squad.

She tweeted: “F**k France and f**k [Didier] Deschamps! What a s**t manager!”

Before adding: “Lets just get this straight! I’m not mad I get my bf for 2 months… I just think theres a level of respect to be had!”

Nasri has had a previous falling out with the French manager, and even before the squad was picked, the City-man admitted that he doesn’t expect to be taken due to their relationship off the field.

After announcing the side, Deschamps defended his decision by claiming Nasri doesn’t perform well in a France shirt.
