Sergi Samper’s Father has been reported to have been in contact with Arsenal to try and push through a move for his son to the gunners.
In the past Arsenal have shown interest in the Spanish midfielder. In 2011 Samper visited Arsenal’s training ground with Jon Toral and Hector Bellerin who decided to join the gunners at that time. Samper on the other hand decided to stay put with Barcelona’s B team.
El Confidencial have said that Samper’s family feel that they have made a mistake by staying in Barcelona which is why his Father is back in contact with the North London club.
Samper’s family look to be keen on the move and Arsenal are willing to meet his release clause from Barcelona B.
