Santi Cazorla boost for Arsenal

Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla has given the club a huge-boost by confirming that he eyes a speedy-return to first-team football, with next weekend’s clash with West Bromwich Albion his target.

The Spaniard picked up an ankle injury a few weeks back and was expected to be out until mid-October, but the midfield-man took to Twitter to confirm that he may be back a lot sooner.

He originally eyed a return for the club in their Champions League tie with Italian side Napoli, but that looks like it’s too soon now, but he believes that next weekend’s trip to The Hawthorns is more realistic.

“I will be fit maybe in one week, I hope I can play at West Brom.” He tweeted.

Cazorla’s return will give Arsene Wenger a huge boost as he is currently without three first-team players in; Lukas Podolski, Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, as well as Yaya Sanogo and Abou Diaby being out injured.
