Arsene Wenger confirms it’s a real possibility

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted it’s a real possibility that Santi Cazorla won’t be back in action until March.

The Spaniard took a nasty kick to the knee during the 1-1 draw with Norwich City on Sunday, and it’s believe he’s damaged some ligaments, leaving him sidelined for around three months.

Cazorla carried on despite the injury due to Wenger already using all three substitutions, with two out of the three used to replace injured duo Laurent Koscielny and Alexis Sanchez.

Speaking in his weekly press conference, Wenger admitted that it’s a real possibility that Cazorla won’t be back in action until March.

He said: “[On] Cazorla we wait to see the specialist.”

“Sanchez is a hamstring [injury] but I don’t know how long it will take.
