Sean Dyche feels Jose Mourinho deserves more respect. Burnley are scheduled to face Manchester United in a tricky fixture at the Turf Moor on Sunday.
Mourinho is feeling the heat following back to back defeat in the Premier League as United are currently reeling at 13th position with three points. A defeat against Clarets may may not have a severe effect on his job but it could decide the future course of action.
Burnley failed to make it to the main stages of the Europa League following their 1-1 draw against Olympiakos. Dyche’s side couldn’t reduce the deficit and they had to make way for the Greek side.
Dyche would be hoping to concentrate solely on the Premier League as they are currently struggling in the relegation zone with a solitary point in their kitty.
Dyche said, “My respect for people like Jose is because I’m a young manager, learning the game, and these people have done enormous things in the game.
“In this game you get questioned for what you’re doing now . People forget your history and what you’ve done. He has done massive things for the game, for his clubs and for himself.
“You’ve got to have a bit more respect when they’ve done what they’ve done in the game.”
