Earlier during the summar, reports told that the former Milan mitfielder was on his way to become the new Milan manager. But after a couple of meetings between the Milan president Silvio Berlusconi, the vice president Adriano Galliani and the coach Massimiliano Allegri, the Italian tactican got to keep his job.

But now report from the Italian paper, Corriere della Sera tells that the Dutch mitfielder Clarence Seedorf already had signed on a contract with the Rossoneris in December 2012, but that it failed because of economic concerns.

It’s reported that the full price for Clarence Seedorf, which include to buying him out from Botafogo, paying his wages and those of his chosen staff, would land on 15 million euro. That was, according to the Italian source, the main reason why Silvio Berlusconi didn’t go through with it.
