Arsenal teenager Serge Gnabry is delighted to have scored his first ever senior goal for the club after he opened the scoring during the 2-1 victory against Swansea City on Saturday.

The 18-year-old drilled a low-shot past Michel Vorm in the second-half to give The Gunners a 1-0 lead and after Aaron Ramsey doubled their advantage, three points were all-but secured.

A late goal from Ben Davies wasn’t enough for Swansea as Arsenal reclaimed top-spot from Tottenham Hotspur and after the game, Gnabry had this to say about his ‘dream goal’.

“Scoring my first goal for Arsenal is something amazing,” Gnabry told Arsenal Player. “Everybody dreams of scoring for the first team and I’ve done that today so I’m very happy.

“I think my goal was the moment where we broke through and that gave us a lot of belief and a lot of momentum to think we can win the game.”

“It helps when you’ve got players from the same country speaking the same language. Especially for me as a young player, they talk to me a lot and I can learn a lot from them,” he said.

“It’s good for Arsenal having these good players in the team.”
