Spaniard is wanted by Premier League quartet

FC Barcelona star Sergio Busquets has admitted that Pedro may have to leave the club if he wants to play regular first-team football.

The winger has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League, with Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool all linked with making formal moves.

Pedro Future Uncertain

The 27-year-old saw his release clause diminished from £107million to just £22m the other week, and that has sparked speculation that English sides want to bring him to their club.

Pedro is already struggling for game-time at the Nou Camp, due to Neymar and Lionel Messi, but with Arda Turan set to join from Atletico Madrid in January, Pedro may be forced further down the pecking-order.

Despite struggling for first-team football, the winger signed a new long-term deal at the club earlier in the summer, but his team-mate believes a move away could be a possibility.

Busquet Admits Move Could Happen

‘I have spoken with Pedro,’ he said at a press conference in San Francisco.

‘I think that as a team-mate and friend, I would like him to stay for a long time but I understand that he has doubts

‘He wants to play but there is a lot of competition. In our team we have the best players and it’s very difficult.

‘I hope he stays but the decision is his.’
