Sergio Ramos has pretty much put all transfer speculation to bed after insisting that he wants to remain a Madrid player.

Rumours started circulating that the defender may be on his way out of the Bernabeu and on his way to Stamford Bridge after reports that he was unhappy with Madrid’s initial contract offer.

These reports seemed to have put Jose Mourinho on full alert to get the Spanish defender as possibly a very worthy replacement for John Terry.

However since these reports, Ramos has come forward and spoken about his future and has said this;

“Despite what has been said money has never been my main concern.

“My extension depends on my happiness here in Madrid and especially the will of the president.

“At the moment, this is the least of my problems and I let my agent take care of it.

“I still gave two years left on my contract and I intend to stay at Real Madrid, a club that gave me everything in my career.”
