Sessegnon to stay if Fulham earns promotion
Ryan Sessegnon is the hottest property outside the Premier League right now after some very impressive performances for the championship side Fulham. Premier League clubs like Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester Clubs are interested in him.
But the teenager has made clear that he would be happy to stay at Fulham providing they earn promotion to Premier League. According to The Sun, Sessegnon could be convinced to snub interest from Premier League and stay at Craven Cottage if he could play top flight football with his current club.
This could be huge boost for Fulham as they would like to like to keep him for one more season if they mange to earn promotion. Otherwise it would become very difficult for the club to keep hold of the wonder kid. Should Fulham fail to earn promotion to the top flight then Sessegnon would supposedly prefer a move to Spurs, over their Premier League rivals.
Fulham are currently third in the Championship, seven points behind second-placed Cardiff whose position secures automatic qualification to the Premier League. The Cottagers, however, are still in a strong position to finish in the playoff places.
Sessegnon has enjoyed a phenomenal season so far in the Championship. The 17-year-old has appeared 38 times in the league, scoring 14 goals and assisting a further five in those games. He has been often compared to Gareth Bale for his versatility to play anywhere along the left side.
