Liverpool have been told by Sevilla president Jorge Castro that they will have to pay a fair price for defender Alberto Moreno if they want to land him this summer.
Castro has denied that any formal bids have been recieved from potential destinations for Moreno. Liverpool, who are thought to be leading the race for the Spaniard, are reportedly willing to pay £16million for Moreno, however Sevilla are pushing for £20million.
Castro said, “It’s true that there is interest from several teams
“One of these teams is Liverpool, but there haven’t been any formal talks over his signing.
“We decide his price. If Alberto Moreno want to stay, he’ll stay. If Liverpool pay his price, he’ll leave.”
