Former-Blues striker believes Carlo Ancelotti is a better option than Jose Mourinho
Andriy Shevchenko believes Carlo Ancelotti is a better option for Chelsea rather than current-boss Jose Mourinho.
The former-Chelsea striker played under both Ancelotti and Mourinho, and he believes the Italian has a better way of building and cementing relationships within a squad.
Ancelotti is a front-runner to replace Mourinho should he lose his job at Stamford Bridge, and despite being sacked from the club years ago, the former-manager is prepared to return should he get the opportunity.
Speaking about both managers, Shevchenko revealed the two major differences between both managers, and the Ukrainian believes Ancelotti’s better at man management.

“All coaches are winners,” he told Marca. “They have similarities, but also differences.
“Ancelotti has a distinct personality. Carlo was a player, with a great career that Mourinho didn’t have.
“Carlo won a lot of trophies and then became a coach and has won three Champions Leagues with two different teams.
“He’s a great coach and a great person. The players have a great relationship with him. I did, personally.”
