Home Premier League Arsenal SILLYSEASON’s TEAM OF THE WEEK

Papiss Cissé leads the line after ending Chelsea’s streak

In a weekend that saw Chelsea finally lose, Manchester City suffer a serious title-blow and Arsene Wenger get abused like never before, the Premier League lived up to it’s hype yet again.
Newcastle United held off a rampant Chelsea in a 2-1 victory, City beat Everton 1-0 but Sergio Aguero suffered a serious knee injury and Stoke City did what they always do, beat Arsenal at the Britannia Stadium.

So after nine matches played across Saturday and Sunday, once again here at sillyseason, we have put together our ‘Team of the Week’.

GOALKEEPER – Kasper Schmeichel (Leicester City)

DEFENDER – Daryl Janmaat (Newcastle United)

DEFENDER – Fabricio Coloccini (Newcastle United)

DEFENDER – John O’Shea (Sunderland)

DEFENDER – Alan Hutton (Aston Villa)

MIDFIELDER – Jack Colback (Newcastle United)

MIDFIELDER – Jonathan Walters (Stoke City)

So after another tough discussion, these are the final 11 in our Team of the Week.
