Real Madrid manager Santiago Solari said that he was happy with his team’s performance against Valencia. Real Madrid registered their 7th La Liga win of the season by defeating Valencia 2-0. An early own goal from Daniel Wass gave Real Madrid the lead before Lucas Vazquez doubled it in the 83rd minute.

Isco who was not in the squad for Real Madrid’s Champions League match against Roma, came on as a substitute in the 80th minute. Following the match, when asked about Isco, Solari said that he was happy with him and all the other players. Solari said, “I told him to be decisive when we were in possession, I’m satisfied with him and with everyone”

Solari also praised Marcos Llorente who made his first La Liga start of the season and his first league appearance since September. He said, “He’s fantastic, that’s how you play against compact and strong teams. The big teams play many competitions, many games and it’s important that every player is good, happy and available. Marcos has done that and is at the level for the two big games he has played in.”

Los Blancos are currently 5th in the La Liga table, three points behind leaders Sevilla. Their next match is a Cope Del Ray clash against third-tier club Melilla.
